KIDD 22LR 10/22 Ultra Lightweight Fluted Threaded Rifle Bull Barrel

Another superb aftermarket barrel for the .22LR by Kidd Innovative Design. This Ultra Lightweight Fluted 10/22 Threaded Bull Barrel weighs just over a pound and is a great shooter!  KIDD has found a niche barrel market for an ultra lightweight threaded 10/22 barrel and believe customers will benefit from a durable steel barrel anchored by a stainless steel breech and stainless steel muzzle design.  The bore is hand lapped here at KIDD.

 At 1.25 pounds and 16 1/4 inches in length this KIDD’s lightest  10/22 threaded rifle barrel. KIDD product testing has resulted in 1/2″ groups at 50 yards.  Though, KIDD Innovative Design doesn’t guarantee this barrel to group at that rate.  A threaded muzzle is an option on the barrel and our threading is 1/2″-28 and is available with a protective cap or muzzle brake.

The threaded version will increase length slightly to 16 3/4″ and our ultra lightweight barrel with our aluminum muzzle brake will be 18 1/4″ in overall length.  This aftermarket 10/22® barrel will drop into any bull barrel channel rifle stock and will look like it was custom made for it.

This 10/22 threaded bull barrel is the ultimate performer in accuracy. Stainless steel material along with a unique manufacturing procedures guarantee that this match barrel will group 1/2″ at 50 yards. This bull barrel will slip into your Ruger® 10/22® receiver or other aftermarket 10/22® receiver. This 10/22 threaded barrel comes in three lengths 20″, 18″, 16.5″ and the stainless steel finish is offered in a polished or bead blast. The best things about these match bull barrels are their simplicity. They tend to be more nose heavy then our other barrels but in this way they create an advantage while target shooting. The advantage is created by slowing down the movement of the rifle as a whole. When the rifle movement is slow the target appears for a longer amount of time in the scope.

KIDD chromemoly blued barrel is a great black barrel option!  These are some of the finest barrels on the market, each one is hand lapped.  Our barrel is bored and rifled by Lothar Walther in Germany.  KIDD then performs all the final machining to make our match barrel a worthy KIDD product.  A proprietary chamber reamer is used to ensure the cartridge and bullet feed smoothly.  KIDD 10/22 threaded barrels are chambered to accept .22 ammo and have a 1:16 twist.  The unique convex extractor slot practically eliminates extraction problems by ensuring the extractor is always in perfect alignment with the case rim.  Why doesn’t everybody use this convex extractor slot?  Because the tooling is very expensive and requires tolerances be held very close for proper machining.  Each barrel receives an 11 degree crown and the double ring at the muzzle end with KIDD marked on the barrel.1/2″ at 50 yards 5 shot group guarantee

KIDD .22LR Tapered Stainless Steel, Chrome Moly 10/22 Threaded Rifle Barrel

20 inch stainless steel straight or chrome moly taper barrel, that slips into a 10/22® receiver. Straight tapered barrel is not as small at the muzzle as the factory taper, because KIDD found that amount of taper to negatively affect the barrel’s accuracy abilities. With a .700 muzzle KIDD can still guarantee a 1/2″ group at 50 yds. Even though this is a 20″ barrel the balance point for the rifle is very close to the shooter’s body due to the taper.
